The role

As our Head of Brand Growth, you will join Markai’s founding team and lead all aspects of scaling our portfolio of consumer brands. You will work directly with our Co-Founders, bringing a strategic mindset and a passion for the consumer to the table. Our team is growing rapidly across the US and Asia, and we plan to quickly build a large organization under your leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for our portfolio of consumer brands
• Manage and build a team of in-house and third-party brand managers, marketing specialists, and data scientists to grow our brands
• Work closely with brand managers in planning and executing product, channel and geographic expansion strategies
• Build systems and processes to track brands and develop strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
• Have an in-depth understanding of the markets in which our brands are selling, both in terms of product and category as well as geography

• An uncommon strategic and analytical mind, as demonstrated by 4+ years of rapid progression at top employers in fields such as consulting, consumer goods, e-commerce, or technology
• A passion for consumer brands, evidenced through experience in a growth-focused role at a leading brand in the US or Europe
• A global mindset and a passion for bringing the world closer together
• Natural leadership, as demonstrated by experience managing high-powered teams
• An entrepreneurial mindset and strong bias to action
• An ownership mentality - someone who is comfortable operating in unstructured environment and has never uttered the words “it’s not my job”
• Strong project planning, stakeholder management and organizational skills
• A Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university
